Except that most American cars since the 80′s have been designed by international design firms with offices in the U.S. Don’t get worked up about it, car designers are like musicians. Is it upsetting when Led Zepplin, Ozzy Ozborne, or AC/DC do rock-n-roll, an “American” music form? Of course not, because they are artists and it doesn’t matter where they come from, as long as what they produce has soul. Same with car designers.
