Results will depend on which car you meant not GTR does that mean not the R35 GT-R or not the R32 R33 R34 GTR?. And mean GTS GT GTT GTS-T GTS4 GT4 instead?. And which year GT500. ?

If we are talking older R32 R33 R34 GTR figures then forget the book figures as engines had to be below 280bhp in Japan until Jan 05 but car makers would let cars out with stock bhp above this but not on paper the GTR would see stock figures of around 330bhp and even them was a detuned engine and actual running power of the RB26dett engine is around 500-600bhp with stock internals and getting to these figures is easy to a tuner hence being so popular and figures can see well above 1000bhp with further mods.
So we have to be careful that a comparison to older models is done fair and not figures against a detuned engine which is running only part of its power.
As with many Japanese cars you have to respect the power figures from such small engines.

The new GT-R see figures of around 500bhp as each car is hand built figures jump between cars. Handling wise car mags have been very impressed with the handling this car offers. And the version out atm is not the ultimate version as v spec is due out in the future.
