how far would this idea go?
i bought a mustang parts mag and they sell the rear shell for a 67-68 fastback, i have a 68 coupe and was wondering how much of my mustang i could transfer over the shell if i bought one. i figured the front end and engine/tranny and the rear end lights (maybe) and back bumper (maybe??)

all the mechanicals should fit ok plus the front panels and doors along with most of the interior trim rear bar and lights you would just have to try but why not just buy a fast back going because it will be a big job and could turn out expensive

All of that is a fit . Only difference in coupe and fastback is roof line .
