My looking for opinions for a new car purchase. I’m nearing 40 years old & wants something fun & fast.?
I've looked at VW's GTI R32 (very expensive) Then looked at Ford's Mustang GT which i'm leaning towards more. I'm open for opinions on Ford these days. The last new Ford I bought was in 1994 and was a piece of crap. So if not a Mustang what car maker compares with a hot V8 and that cool exhaust note.

I HATE fords but love the new Mustangs. Go figure. They are really sweet but so is the Pontiac Solstice and it’s cheaper. For me the ultimate car for turning 40 was a A. C. Cobra with a 427 cid aluminum big block and a 6 spd. Richmond tranny. It’ll eat anything on the road and has timeless looks. Find a nice used one for the same money as the mustang and be unique. When you turn loose 850 hp and destroy a set of rear tires you’ll feel soooooooooo good ! Like being young again.

go with the stang. its got style power speed and its pretty reliable. plus its not that expensive. a 2007 gt will for a bout 28K. but its worth it. It was ranked the best mid size sports car for quality in 06

Well If you can find a Saturn Sky. It’s the sexes car on the road. Pontiac Has some very nice looking cars . The G6 coupe runs about 22,800-25. 000 comes in a hard top convertible. The G5 15,390-18,145 The Pontiac Grand Prix. 22,500-33,290 Then the GTO for33,290. the the Chev. Vet. If you know some that works for GM they might be able to get you a discount called “In The Driveway ” That is a bout a ten to twelve percent off.
If you are looking for a hot car the Mustang GT. Nothing sounds like as hot horse with muscle. Best of luck.

My Pops just bought the Pontiact Solstice Turbo. Its a hot little car. You should check into that.

Man get yourself a stang. I have a 2003 GT Mustang 327 Gears, 4 spd auto tranny, shift kit, stock injectors, stock suspension, 4. 6 04 Lincoln motor stock, BBK shorty Headers, with modified Cats, and a Kenne Bell supercharger inner cooler cold air intake running at 9psi boost. My Dyno was 377 rwhp and 410 torque. I raced a 07 Srt8 Charger and bussed him with no prob he didnt even want to run 20 feet when he saw my acceleration he just stopped. Theres nothing like having a sleeper car. Most people think its a regular GT until i bussem then its like they ride by while I’m at the stop light and blow their horns and give me the thumbs up. I found it on stangnet. com for only 14,500 with only 11,00 miles on that 4. 6 lincoln motor. Yeah I said lincoln the guy i bought it from blew the orig motor up because kenne bell has a power shootout switch which gives you 15 psi you have to be runing 100% octane or better at that boost he wasnt and he had the trac on at at full throttle and blew the motor up Lucky me HE HE HE LOL! Anyway man check the person’s VIn number against the title and have a mechanic check it out before you buy it. My stang runs with the new Z06 and when I change my pulley it will be on. I have a $14,000 car that runs like a 60,000 car what a steal!

Go with the stang don`t waist all your money on these so called “fast” imports. Plus these imports are exspensive to fix, and your going to have to fix them. Many Times!
