Between the two, Nissan GT-R, without a doubt.
Nissan GT-R really aren’t in the same class as the Mustang GT.

If you are talking about the new Nissan GT-R, then I hate to say it but it is a better car than the 05 Mustang GT. But you are comparing an $80,000 supercar to a $25,000 Mustang GT (when it was new). With $55,000 you save in buying the Mustang, you can modify the Mustang to make it a way better car than the GT-R. Stock vs. Stock the GT-R is better, but the Mustang gives you a much cheaper and easier platform to work with

i would take the mustang. I have heard to many storys about the stupid trans blowing up on the gt-r’s and costing an arm and leg to fix along others. Plus like the other guy said with the money you would be saving you can make the mustang hell of alot faster and handle just as good if not better.

you’re comparing apples to oranges dude. I could go on all day with the possibilities.
Other than the big difference in price, the GT-R is an AWD vehicle. Not to mention completely different performance platforms.

1. Look it up, in your previous question you state that BCNR33′s were produced in 1998, and they were not.
2. If you can afford a GT-R, why even contemplate a Mustang? Why not a 911, or an old FD3S, or a Lotus Elise? Think rational. . .
Something is iffy here, but if I were you, I’d go with neither, as the Mustang’s rear independent suspension is like a trucks, and the GT-R has an oil change that costs more then the repair of a brand new Ferrari (2000 USD).
Consider buying something you like.

Mustang is a pure muscle car. Get the Mustang and tell your friend to start riding the bus.

The Nissan is more expensive to buy and maintain. .
And won’t have the eye-candy appeal among your friends, unless you are a doctor, lawyer, or mortgage banker. . . . .
For the price of the Nissan, you could create a quasi-look-a-like version of the Elenore car, that would impress your buddies. . . . .
