What do you think about this Cobra Mustang?
This is a 2001 cobra mustang. Tell me what you think about it and if you think its a good deal. I know I have to have a mechanic look at it first and test drive already. Tell me what you think and if you dont like mustangs period...then dont answer. Keep in mind. I am going to buy a cobra in the next month and will sell it in one year. I just want to be able to experience it.

nice car but wondering why new tranny this is a 305 horsepower model no supercharger but should have independent rear axle same horsepower rating as mach 1 and 05 up mustang gt if you want to really experience the power of the cobra get the 03 04 model 390 horsepower supercharger get in sit down shut up and hold on kind of car

go for it before the enviro wackos declare it’s destroying the earth and with a V 8 it’s gonna be hard to give it up. ever been stuck behind a 4 banger going up hill with less than a 1/4 mile to pass well that car would pass it in a second.

nice car, good mileage. . . . . . . . . this profile cobra remains popular, and the modifications made to the car are perfect. . . . still quite rare (only 3800 cobra coupes built in 01). . . . this generation cobra basically as powerful as the new GT, with an intake, performance exhaust and retune of the engine with a tuning chip (like a diablo predator or sct).
this car based on modifications could have been retuned (ask former owner or pro shop. . . . if not it would be a good investment in order to get most out of exhaust & CAI. . . . no impact on engine dependability.
(best to run high octane in this car)
fully agree that it should have a once over by a mechanic (suspension, brakes, spark, and compression test.
auto trader reliable, but its always good to ck VIN against a decoder to insure its original limited edition cobra – not a clone. . . . . do that here if you want:
