chip upgrades and turbo/super chargers all work fine . but nitrous is the easiest but not the cheapest overall power adder there is . if cost is not an issue then go with the spray . it works every time.

a tuner can boost alot of power and torque like a superchips tuner. a lower rear end like a 4. 10 or 4. 33. and if u got the money a turbo or supercharger can make a huge difference. a turbo would make higher HP gains but only in the higher rpm range, a turbo run way more efficiently=power. it may only use 5 HP to run the turbo and its using just the exhaust rather than a supercharger that runs off of power that the engine makes, usually it takes about 50-75 HP to run the system. Nitrous is nice but is only for short bursts and can be very dangerous for your vehicle if not used right. also possibly a larger throttle body, lighten the vehicle.

Then i'll end up pushing shovelheads chevy with MY ford!

But this is an easy question. . . .

1. ) NITROUS(starting kits are $500 or so. . . but learn EVERYTHING before using it!)

2. )Supercharger - Vortech, Procharger, Paxton, or m90 style. . . . theres a million people that make chargers for your mustang!

3. ) Turbo kit - theres turbo kits and even TWIN turbo kits. . . . they cost alot more than S/C'ers though. . . .

4. ) Engine work - theres GT40 cylinder heads, and plenty of companies that make aftermarket engine parts, they will usually do up to Stage 3 port and polish cylinder heads and intakes, etc. . . . .

----
Nitrous is definately the quickest, cheapest way to more power, you could usually safely run a 100 or 150 shot i assume. . . . but like i said, you MUST know EVERYTHING about nitrous and do alot of reading before installing or using! Your engine could easily be destroyed or damaged if your an idiot.

I would recommend either going with a Supercharger Kit($4000 or so), or just do a google search and find a company that ports heads and intakes, or sells aftermarket engine components. . . . you can easily gain 80hp from some simple porting, camshaft set and ECU tune!

I'll be a smart a** and say send it over a 14000 foot cliff but you would be mad.

The problem is you don't say what kind of fast you want. Off the line or on the flat and straight or in an autocross.

Each demands separate types of tuning.

When you decide which let us all know and we can give you better advice.
