will you tell me about your mustang horse?
mustangs are such an interestingly varied breed and i was wondering what other people's were like because i've never seen another who looks anything like my mare and whether she was kind of a typical mustang or not. so yeah, if you have a mustang, tell me about em and maybe post a pic? 
my mare is stubborn, dominant and hates people because she was pretty badly abused and neglected by her previous owner(s). she's hard to get along with at times, and get bored beyond belief by arena work. however, she's also the smartest horse ive ever met or heard of and loves riding the most vicious, rocky, steep, and uncharted trails that we can find. she loves doing anything that other horses shy at or have a problem doing, just so she can prove she can do it. shes very protective of me, and has proved it time and again. usually, people start out a ride laughing at her, and end the ride asking me if they can buy her cause she's the handiest little horse they've seen
there's my horse. her name is Honey. she's only about 14.2 hands btw...
first off, thanks to everyone who said that Honey is a good looking horse. she's a bit of a flashy little thing during the summer :p
oh, and also, everyone, your horses are beautiful! i love all the variety...mustangs all look so different. plus, they age really well- my mare is about 16!

My mustang gelding, Zoso is very very intelligent. That is common among mustangs. But because he is so smart, it really affects his training. It is a bitter sweet quality. He learns very quickly, but he also can find loop holes and learn bad habits quicker than I can spot them!
I just got him about two and a half months ago, and I haven’t really gotten him training very far. I am taking it slow, I have got him to tie, pick hooves, lunge, and I am introducing the saddle pad. I probably would be farther along if there weren’t so many unexpected family issues going on right now.
He tends to be a loner and is often found far from the other horses. There is only one horse that he actually gets along with, which is a outgoing quarab that no horse cant get along with. Other than that he doesn’t have any real pasture friends.
He was captured at the age of four in Missouri and came from a Shawnee reservation. He is now 8, and for the past 4 years has been running wild (untouched except from some light leading and feeding) in someones very large pasture.

my mustang, Mariah, is 14. 2 and 7-9 years old. she gets so bored with arena work but is so loving, frienly with other horses, and soooooo smart!

Unfortunately, I don’t own a mustang. YET! Ha ha. It’s always been my dream to adopt a mustang from a BLM auction. But, I don’t have my own property yet. Anyways, Honey is adorable. . I love when palominos have dapples Also. . Megan K- Your guy is BEAUTIFUL!

i breed mustangs my mustang stud’s name is cyclone! he is almost 15 hands and 4yrs old. he is all black with a red tnt to his mane and tail, he also has a white cresant moon on his forehead he is FAST, intellegent, very strong not the best jumper but he will be a great barrel racer when i get the time. cyclone has a more frightful look to life. . . a little more cautios then most

my newest mustang doesnt have a name, is in poor shape but we r thinking of twist (twisted ellegance) she isa “bay” but i would call her a chestnut! only problem is, shes got a black mane and tail! shes got a long white blaze down her face and black tiger stripes on her legs. . . when this pretty mare fills out and is treated i will post her pictures on the same site as cyclone. she is extremly shy and has been abused and beaten but in he eyes you can tell she will make an excellent horse shes 6yrs old and 15hands shes careful but also pesistent to push her self to do the unimaginable

Okay, so my first horse was a 3 year old BLM Mustang, her name is Apple Girl and I got her about two months ago Im not at her riding level yet but I do ride her and she does really loves it!
