‹ 1969 Ford Mustang Coupe For Sale in Tulsa Oklahoma — how good is a 2000 ford mustang engine after 150k miles? ›
best method to recover money when selling a project car?
By no means am I trying to profit on the sale but I would like to get as much as I can. I am either considering:
Selling as is
Or parting out
It is a 91 mustang which was originally a 4 cyl. It has a 347 ci. stroker motor with t/w heads and is carburated the body is in near perfect shape with a small ding 2 years on a complete repaint with lifetime guarantee (Dupont paint used). All new weather striping as well But it still has quite a few talking points. Roller rockers are a bit noisy transmission has a slight whine and the interior has never been redone.
So if I sell whole I may not be able to recoup as much as if I part out and sold rolling chassis right?
Or should I try to sell as is and forget it?

Sell it as is. If you part it out, you will never sell all the parts anyway and you have to go through the effort of taking it apart. You will end up with a useless hulk in your yard for years.
