Did the 1973 Mustangs that were build and sold in Mexico have such low hp engines as the US Mustangs??

However, I live in Mexico and see quite a lot of these vehicles still. These were build AND sold here in Mexico. … there were no emissions controls then. Therefore, did these Mustangs retain the high performance ratings of the 1960′s era Mustangs??
